MISSION STATEMENT

Our mission is to help people of all ages, ethnicity, and backgrounds to SEEK GOD through the teaching of the Word and through inspirational music and worship.

Out of a love for the lost, we SHARE JESUS’ incredible message of ultimate sacrifice through personal and corporate evangelism.

Because of God’s unconditional love and life-changing power, we build community and SHOW LOVE to one another through fellowship, outreach, committed personal relationships, and unconditional acceptance.

This mission can be realized only through prayer and the power of the Holy Spirit.

PASTOR TYE

Pastor Tye Riter became the senior pastor at Calvary in the fall of 2005. While still in college, he felt God’s call on his life; yet, it would take nearly twelve years before God brought that call to fruition.

While having a successful career as a professional trumpet player, Tye began teaching music at Palm Beach Atlantic University, a Christian university in West Palm Beach, FL. At the same time, Tye and his wife, Lori, started attending Calvary Chapel in West Boca.

God began opening doors for ministry at the church and at the university. When the current pastor of Calvary Boca, Chris Stultz, felt God calling him to accept a position at Calvary Chapel Ft. Lauderdale, Tye sensed God’s timing for the call that began twelve years earlier. Although still “tent making” (working full-time with the university and devoting the rest of his time to ministry), Tye has a passion for God’s Word and His people.
