The
mission of Calvary Chapel West Boca is to reach the lost,
disciple the believer and “equip the saints [the congregation]
for the work of the ministry.” We do this by teaching
the Bible in four formats: Sunday and Wednesday Services,
Bible
Studies, Media Resources.
Sunday and Wednesday
Services
Our current Sunday Morning Service is an expositional, verse
by verse study in the book of Genesis. Our desire is to know
God
and His heart. By examining the scriptures in a systematic
way we begin
to understand His call on our life and love for each of us
personally. The Wednesday evening Bible study is a time of
in depth study
of God’s word. In January we will begin The Way of the
Master, an intense 8-week training in evangelism, learning to
lead people
to the Lord through a better understanding of the Ten Commandments.
Book Table/Media
Ministry
The Book table is open after the Sunday service. It is
a great resource for Christian books, CD’s, and
tapes. Recordings of the Sunday and Wednesday messages
are available as well
as our Praise and
Worship CD, Be My Vision. If you would like to place an
order, contact Deb Adams.
"Let everything that
has breath Praise the Lord!" Psalm
150
The vision
of our worship team is to lead the saints before the
throne of God Almighty in spiritual worship. Our new
CD, Be My
Vision, features praise and worship from the worship
team at Calvary Chapel West Boca. CD’s are available
in the bookstore. If you sense that God is leading you to
serve in this area,
speak with Pastor
Tye about auditioning.
BIBLE STUDIES
Men's
Discipleship "As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another."
Proverbs 27:17
This program is dedicated
to building men into Christlike leaders for their families,
friends,
church, and community.
The men
of Calvary meet every Tuesday night for a time of
worship, prayer,
and study from the Word of God. Once a month, we try to do something special like a BBQ, pizza, movie, baseball, hockey, etc. This is a
great opportunity for men to grow in the Lord and
find
genuine friendships
for encouragement and accountability. God is doing
great things in the men’s group at Calvary
West Boca! For more information contact Kevin
Hrebik at 954.421.7486.
Ladies’ Discipleship "The unfolding of your words gives light; it gives
understanding to the simple." Psalm 119:130
The
women of Calvary have various studies throughout
the year. Our current study is titled, "Lives of Integrity " by Beth Moore. We meet on Thursday evenings from 7:00-9:00 p.m.
at the Calvary West Boca Church Property. Past studies have
included the Beth Moore study,
Living Beyond
Yourself:
The Fruit of the Spirit and others. For

His Helping Hands
This ministry
is for those in our local body of Christ here at Calvary
who are in need of "His Helping Hands." This
may be due to a newborn child in the home and mom
is recuperating from the birth. For others it may be due to
illness,
a death in
the family, or some other unfortunate event. This
ministry provides meals to new mothers, errand running, shopping,
etc.
Contact Lori if you know of someone in need or to find out how
you can participate and be a blessing in someone’s life.
Missions
Our call is to be God’s witnesses to “Judea, Samaria,
and the uttermost parts of the world.” At
Calvary we believe in following the biblical model
by contributing
10%
of our income
to the work of the Lord outside our church. As
a result we support many missionaries and missions
organizations.
We currently
support
missionaries in India, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, England,
as well as missionaries in the US to college campuses,
and
other church
work.
Benevolence "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was
thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger
and you invited me in…" Matthew 25:35
Calvary West Boca
ministers to both the spiritual and physical needs of those in
our neighborhood
and to
the area’s
migrant community. Join us by bringing food,
clothes and other basic
needs to these hard-working but still needy people.
If you or someone
you know has physical needs such as food, clothing,
etc., these ministries exist to meet those needs.
Or if you would
like
to help in contributing to this ministry, please
send us an email
message
or call the church at (561) 488-CARE. If you
think God may be leading you to serve in this
area, please come and
talk
to Pastor
Tye or
Sugar.
Hospitality Ministry
"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working
for the Lord, not for men…" Colossians 3:23
The Hospitality
Ministry runs the Calvary Café before
and after the Sunday service. Contact Karen for

"Serve wholeheartedly, as
if you were serving the Lord, not men…" Ephesians
